Class of '45 Student World Fellow - Williams College Summer Travel Fellowship to Argentina
March 2021 to August 2021
Researched the long-term effects of the Argentine military dictatorship (1976 - 1983) on gender performance, as well as the effects of the activism of the Madres de la Plaza de Mayo on cultural memory in Argentina.
Worked with the National University of La Plata (Universidad Nacional de la Plata) as a Teaching Assistant in their department of Popular Music. The department was founded by the Madres de la Plaza de Mayo to preserve the memory of the 30,000 activists that were disappeared during the military dictatorship for being political dissidents.
Facilitated funding to the Ministery of Human Rights in the Province of Misiones for a multi-week workshop for teachers and educators on human rights issues.
Collaborated with the Minister of Human Rights in the Province of Misiones on local projects.
